GetHarley Personalised Skincare Consultations in London & Online
At Cosmetica London, personalised skincare is part of treatment – not an add-on.
As a doctor-led clinic in Balham, we focus on improving skin health first, so that every aesthetic treatment looks better, lasts longer, and delivers more natural results.
Our personalised skincare consultations are available in clinic and online, offering expert guidance without confusion, pressure, or unnecessary products.
Doctor-Led Skincare You Can Trust
All skincare consultations are overseen by Dr Mica Engel, Founder and Medical Director of Cosmetica London.
With over 20 years’ experience in aesthetic medicine, Dr Mica’s approach is clinical, considered, and evidence-based – never trend-led or brand-driven.
Every skincare plan is:
- tailored to your individual skin concerns
- focused on barrier health and long-term skin function
- built around a small number of effective ingredients
- adapted over time as your skin changes
What Is a Personalised Skincare Consultation?
A personalised skincare consultation is not about using more products.
It’s about understanding your skin properly and creating a clear, simplified routine that works.
During your consultation, we assess:
- your skin type, sensitivity, and concerns
- your current routine (what’s working and what isn’t)
- lifestyle and environmental factors
- current or planned aesthetic treatments
From this, we create a routine that supports your skin now and long-term.
Barrier-First, Results-Focused Care
Many skin issues including sensitivity, redness, pigmentation and premature ageing stem from a compromised skin barrier.
That’s why every skincare plan at Cosmetica London starts with stabilising and strengthening the barrier before introducing targeted actives.
This approach:
- reduces irritation and over-treatment
- improves tolerance and compliance
- helps treatments perform better
- supports healthier skin long term
One Continuous Treatment Plan: Clinic + Home
In-clinic treatments create change.
Your home routine maintains it.
We treat skincare as part of the same treatment plan – not something separate. Consistent home care supports hydration, collagen production, pigmentation control and recovery between appointments.
To support this, we work with GetHarley, a secure professional platform that allows us to:
- prescribe medical-grade skincare digitally
- provide clear, personalised usage guidance
- adjust routines as your skin responds
support consistency and long-term results
Online Skincare Consultations
Online consultations are ideal if you:
- want expert guidance from your home
- are reviewing or simplifying your routine
- need ongoing skincare support
- live outside London
Your consultation includes a full skin assessment, review of your current products, and a personalised skincare plan. Recommended products can be ordered easily and delivered directly to your door.
Online consultation fee: £50
£25 redeemable credit against recommended products (new GetHarley patients only)
In-Clinic Skincare Consultations & Skin Analysis
For face-to-face care, we offer in-clinic skincare consultations at our Balham clinic.
These may include:
- detailed skin assessment
- advanced skin analysis scans
- objective evaluation of hydration, texture and pigmentation
- integration with in-clinic treatment planning
Ideal if you are preparing for injectables, devices or want deeper insight into your skin.
Is Personalised Skincare Expensive?
No – and in many cases, it reduces unnecessary spending.
You don’t need to replace everything you already use. Many patients keep their existing cleanser or moisturiser while we focus on key active ingredients that make the biggest difference.
By removing ineffective or conflicting products, personalised skincare often leads to better results with fewer steps.
