Dr Mica Engel graduated in General Medicine in Brazil where she began her medical career as a GP and A&E doctor.

Here she trained with the eminent plastic surgeon Mauricio De Maio and took his master class on the innovative liquid facelift. Working with dermal fillers, she learned a series of sophisticated injection techniques to achieve subtle beauty enhancements.

Since coming to London in 2007, Mica has built an outstanding reputation within the field of cosmetic medicine. Her broad knowledge and experience of facial structures mean she can achieve natural looking results using precise, but subtle techniques.

Dr Mica is a Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, treating thousands of patients a year with flawless results.

Amanda qualified in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology at North Devon College before going on to manage some of the most prestigious Spas around the world.

From the world famous Relais & Châteaux hotel group in Canada, to a luxury Spa on the tropical island of Bermuda, she has gained a wealth of experience and understanding of people’s needs and expectations.

While in Canada, Amanda starred in a primetime TV show, Spectacular Spas. She has also featured in many national British newspapers and magazines, promoting and explaining the latest innovations in all areas of beauty treatment. Amanda is the Managing Director of Cosmetica London and has helped to create a warm and welcoming clinic environment with a first class reputation for outstanding results.

Lucy joins us as Cosmetica’s Clinic Manager.

As a mother of 3 boys and a keen hiker, she brings bundles of energy to our team. She has worked in the field of facial aesthetics for the past 4 years, developing and managing clinics for some of the world leaders in plastic surgery. 

Her career also includes managing research labs in cutaneous (skin) research and supporting the teaching and development of innovative skin and stem cell rejuvenation techniques. 

Lucy’s wealth of experience and passion for innovation will see some of the latest technologies on the market finding their way to Cosmetica London to support all of our client’s needs. 

Dr Asha Chhaya graduated as a Dental surgeon from King’s College London with an Honours degree and a host of achievement awards.

Alongside Dentistry, Dr Asha completed training in facial aesthetics with some of the leading Aesthetic Doctors in the UK and was one of the first students to achieve a Level 7 (Masters equivalent) certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine.

This saw her selected as lead trainer for one of the most reputable aesthetic training companies in the UK, teaching medical professionals how to perform anti-wrinkle injections and filler treatments.

Since her initial aesthetic training in 2015, Dr Asha has transitioned into a full-time role as an Aesthetic Doctor. Her expertise has earned her recognition in leading publications such as Stylist and Cosmopolitan magazines.

Dr Asha’s approach to treatment is minimal yet effective, helping you to look the very best you can for your age without looking ‘done’. With her extensive professional background and passion for delivering the best possible results, you can be certain that you are in safe hands.

Marco is a board-certified plastic surgeon at University Hospital Birmingham Trust and Vesey Private Hospital. He has 10 years of experience in non-invasive techniques and will focus on full-face rejuvenation and Endolift working alternative Saturdays at Cosmetica London.

With his wealth of experience and many medical honours, we are confident he will bring new treatments, techniques and the latest innovation into our facial aesthetics portfolio.

Originally from Spain, Nuria came to the UK in 2003 to learn English before choosing to go into the Aesthetics industry.

Nuria studied at the London College of Beauty Therapy gaining an NVQ Level 2 & 3. She has worked with laser treatments for 8 years and is qualified with a Level 4 Laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) for Skin Rejuvenation treatments, giving her a wealth of knowledge in performing bespoke laser facials for problematic skin.

She has worked as a Senior Aesthetic Therapist in high-end specialist clinics in London, and her passion for skin enables her to determine the best treatments based on individual client needs.

Caroline is the founder of N E I K I D and now brings her popular lash and brow treatments to Cosmetica London.

Having left her previous career in media to follow her aspirations of working in the beauty industry, Caroline qualified as a PhiBrow Artist in 2019 and went on to achieve her Beauty Therapy NVQ (Level 2&3) at the prestigious London School of Beauty & Make-up in 2020.

Caroline specialises in Microblading, less permanent forms of brow enhancements and lash lifts.

With a thirst for knowledge, Caroline is constantly investing in training, focusing on upgrading her technical knowledge and skillset to provide you with the best possible lash and brow treatments in SW London.

Sarah is a local lady, living in Balham for nearly 20 years, and a proud mum of 2 boys.

She has had a wide and varied career specialising in customer service, from working within the travel industry and numerous roles as a receptionist and administrator.

Sarah is a keen photographer who ran her own business while being a stay-at-home mum, specialising in portraits, products, and business profiles.

After 19 years of being a work-from-home mum, Sarah is excited to return to the outside world and face-to-face customer service at Cosmetica London as our newest member of staff.

Charlotte studied Tourism Business with Events Management and spent much time travelling around Europe, Asia, and both North and South America before coming to settle in London.

During her stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia, she worked with an orphanage teaching children Maths & English.

This is Charlotte’s first time working in the aesthetic world but she now feels inspired to develop her skills in the industry after witnessing first hand the great service and treatments we offer at Cosmetica.

Dominyka is the newest member of our team. Hailing originally from Lithuania, she has called the UK home for over 13 years. A dedicated mother to two beautiful children, she is rejoining the workforce after a rewarding five-year period of raising her family.

Dominyka brings over a decade of customer service experience, and she brings a truly remarkable enthusiasm for connecting with people.

Her passion for all things beauty-related adds a unique and vibrant touch to her role. She looks forward to welcoming and serving you, our valued clients, and contributing her skills to create exceptional experiences.

Originally from the west of Ireland, Tara travelled to Scotland to study for a degree in science before graduating with an Honours degree and going on to have a career in Media and TV post-production for 25 years.

Tara was a Commercials director for top London agencies for 8 years until she had her twins when she then became Marketing Director of a Soho sound studio. This is her first job in the aesthetics world, but her background in science gives her a wealth of knowledge in the medical world and skincare products, making it a natural transition.

Ellen has worked in the travel industry for 12 years, promoting beautiful destinations such as Fiji, Brazil, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

When Covid-19 hit, and global travel ground to a halt, Ellen completed a bookkeeping and admin diploma before joining the Cosmetica London team.

Based in Brighton her work is often unseen, ensuring things run smoothly with our systems.
