JULÄINE Collagen Biostimulator
A next-generation injectable that works with your skin’s own biology – gradually stimulating collagen production to improve firmness, skin quality and the appearance of lines and folds, with results that build naturally over time.
What is Juläine and how does it work?
Juläine is a PLLA-based injectable manufactured in Sweden, using LASYNPRO technology – a proprietary process producing highly uniform, biocompatible PLLA microspheres. When injected into the dermis, these microspheres are gradually absorbed by the body. During this process, they stimulate a controlled fibroblast response – triggering the skin’s own collagen-producing cells to increase their activity.
This is fundamentally different from hyaluronic acid treatments like Profhilo or dermal fillers, which work by adding hydration or volume directly. The collagen produced in response to Juläine is your own – genuine new collagen fibres that improve tissue integrity, firmness and skin structure. Results are progressive and look natural.
What to expect
Before your treatment: All Juläine treatments begin with a consultation. We assess your skin, discuss your concerns and confirm whether Juläine is the right option – or whether a different treatment or combination approach would serve you better.
During treatment: Juläine is injected into the target areas using a fine needle. The product is reconstituted with an anaesthetic solution before injection. A typical session takes 30 to 45 minutes.
After treatment: Mild swelling, redness and tenderness is normal and settles within 24 to 48 hours. Results begin to emerge from around four to six weeks after the first session and continue to develop throughout the course.
Is Juläine right for you?
Juläine works particularly well for patients who:
- Notice a gradual loss of firmness, definition or skin quality in the face or neck
- Want sustained, progressive improvement rather than an immediate visible change
- Prefer not to add significant volume – Juläine does not bulk or alter facial proportions
- Are aged 30 and above, taking a longer-term regenerative approach to skin health
- Want to complement existing treatments such as Profhilo, fillers or anti-wrinkle injections
