Appointment Deposit & Cancellation Policy

In effect from 28 August 2026

Appointment deposits

A £50 booking deposit secures your appointment at Cosmetica London. This applies to every appointment type, including treatments, consultations, anti-wrinkle review appointments, and follow-up or rebooked appointments.

For treatment and consultation appointments, your deposit comes off the cost of your treatment on the day.

For anti-wrinkle review appointments, which are complimentary, your £50 deposit simply secures your place and is returned to you in full once you have attended.

Your deposit secures the appointment, not the treatment itself. All treatments remain subject to a clinical assessment of suitability on the day.

Deposits are paid by card. Gift vouchers and account credit cannot be used to pay a deposit, though they can of course be redeemed against your treatment cost on the day.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. This lets us offer your time to another client who is waiting.

If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, or do not attend, your £50 deposit is retained and a new deposit is needed to secure any future booking. This applies to all appointment types, including reviews.

You can give notice by phone, text, email or voicemail. If you contact us outside opening hours, the time your message was sent counts as your notice.

Anti-wrinkle review appointments

Your review is a complimentary appointment with your doctor to assess your result now that your treatment has fully settled. Not every result needs a refinement – your doctor’s role is to check whether your outcome is optimal and to make a small adjustment only where one is clinically needed.

Anti-wrinkle treatment takes around 14 days to reach its full effect. We recommend your review takes place around 2 weeks after your treatment, though it can be booked any time up to 4 weeks. We are unable to see you for a review any earlier, as your result will not yet have fully developed. This window is when your doctor can accurately assess your result and safely make any refinement.

Refinements made after four weeks can, over time, make future treatments less effective, so protecting your long-term results always comes first. If you have any concerns after the four-week window, your doctor will note them carefully and address them at your next treatment.

To help make sure you get a slot within your window, we recommend booking your review at the same time as your treatment.

Late arrivals

If you are running behind, please call ahead and we will always do our best to accommodate you. Because every treatment needs enough time to be carried out safely and to the standard you deserve:

  • Review appointments (15 minutes): arrivals more than 5 minutes late will need to be rescheduled.
  • Injectable and other 30-minute appointments: arrivals more than 10 minutes late will need to be rescheduled.
  • Facials and longer treatments: wherever possible we will still treat you, with your treatment time reduced by the time missed. If there is no longer enough time to carry out your treatment safely, it will need to be rescheduled.

Where an appointment has to be rescheduled because of a late arrival, the cancellation policy applies.

Children in the clinic

For safety and insurance reasons we are unable to have children in the clinic or treatment rooms. Our treatments involve needles and medical devices that need your practitioner’s complete focus, and we have no facility to supervise children while you are being treated.

So that your practitioner can give your treatment their full attention, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare for your visit. This applies to any child who would need supervision. If you arrive with a child who is not supervised by another adult, we will need to find you a new appointment, and the cancellation policy applies.

Your rights and your information

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

As a medical clinic, we keep full clinical records. Before-and-after photographs are a required part of every treatment – our insurers require them, and we are unable to carry out a treatment without them. They form part of your confidential medical record, are stored securely, and are handled in line with our privacy notice and UK data protection law. You can ask to see the information we hold about you at any time.

If anything about your experience is not right, please tell us. You can email the team at info@cosmeticalondon.com and we will look into it directly and explain how we will put it right. We take every concern seriously.

Why we have this policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When appointments are cancelled at short notice or missed, we are usually unable to offer that time to another client who is waiting. This policy helps us keep appointments available and fair for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
