Dr Mica Engel graduated in General Medicine in Brazil where she began her medical career as a GP and A&E doctor.

Here she trained with the eminent plastic surgeon Mauricio De Maio and took his master class on the innovative liquid facelift. Working with dermal fillers, she learned a series of sophisticated injection techniques to achieve subtle beauty enhancements.

Since coming to London in 2007, Mica has built an outstanding reputation within the field of cosmetic medicine. Her broad knowledge and experience of facial structures mean she can achieve natural looking results using precise, but subtle techniques.

Dr Mica is a Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine, treating thousands of patients a year with flawless results.

Amanda qualified in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology at North Devon College before going on to manage some of the most prestigious Spas around the world.

From the world famous Relais & Châteaux hotel group in Canada, to a luxury Spa on the tropical island of Bermuda, she has gained a wealth of experience and understanding of people’s needs and expectations.

While in Canada, Amanda starred in a primetime TV show, Spectacular Spas. She has also featured in many national British newspapers and magazines, promoting and explaining the latest innovations in all areas of beauty treatment. Amanda is the Managing Director of Cosmetica London and has helped to create a warm and welcoming clinic environment with a first class reputation for outstanding results.

Dr Asha Chhaya graduated as a Dental surgeon from King’s College London with an Honours degree and a host of achievement awards.

Alongside Dentistry, Dr Asha completed training in facial aesthetics with some of the leading Aesthetic Doctors in the UK and was one of the first students to achieve a Level 7 (Masters equivalent) certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine.

This saw her selected as lead trainer for one of the most reputable aesthetic training companies in the UK, teaching medical professionals how to perform anti-wrinkle injections and filler treatments.

Since her initial aesthetic training in 2015, Dr Asha has transitioned into a full-time role as an Aesthetic Doctor. Her expertise has earned her recognition in leading publications such as Stylist and Cosmopolitan magazines.

Meet Nuria, our skincare therapist. Her name says it all, a true maestro in the realm of all things skin!

A graduate of the London College of Beauty Therapy, Nuria holds esteemed NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualifications, complemented by a Level 4 Laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) certification for Skin Rejuvenation treatments. This extensive training equips her to deliver customised treatments to address a spectrum of skin concerns.

With a track record of delivering advanced skincare treatments for some of London’s most renowned clinics since 2010, Nuria joined our team in 2019, becoming an integral part of our resident experts.

Nuria possesses a unique ability to assess individual skincare needs and tailor treatment plans with precision. Her commitment to delivering outstanding results extends beyond the treatment room, as she passionately dedicates herself to educating clients about optimal skin care practices bespoke to their specific needs.

Caroline is the founder of N E I K I D and now brings her popular lash and brow treatments to Cosmetica London.

Having left her previous career in media to follow her aspirations of working in the beauty industry, Caroline qualified as a PhiBrow Artist in 2019 and went on to achieve her Beauty Therapy NVQ (Level 2&3) at the prestigious London School of Beauty & Make-up in 2020.

Caroline specialises in Microblading, less permanent forms of brow enhancements and lash lifts.

With a thirst for knowledge, Caroline is constantly investing in training, focusing on upgrading her technical knowledge and skillset to provide you with the best possible lash and brow treatments in SW London.

Sarah is a local lady, living in Balham for nearly 20 years, and a proud mum of 2 boys.

She has had a wide and varied career specialising in customer service, from working within the travel industry and numerous roles as a receptionist and administrator.

Sarah is a keen photographer who ran her own business while being a stay-at-home mum, specialising in portraits, products, and business profiles.

After 19 years of being a work-from-home mum, Sarah is excited to return to the outside world and face-to-face customer service at Cosmetica London as our newest member of staff.

Charlotte studied Tourism Business with Events Management and spent much time travelling around Europe, Asia, and both North and South America before coming to settle in London.

During her stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia, she worked with an orphanage teaching children Maths & English.

This is Charlotte’s first time working in the aesthetic world but she now feels inspired to develop her skills in the industry after witnessing first hand the great service and treatments we offer at Cosmetica.

Hailing originally from Lithuania, Dominyka has called the UK home for over 13 years. A dedicated mother to two beautiful children, she is rejoining the workforce after a rewarding five-year period of raising her family.

Dominyka brings over a decade of customer service experience, and she brings a truly remarkable enthusiasm for connecting with people.

Her passion for all things beauty-related adds a unique and vibrant touch to her role. She looks forward to welcoming and serving you, our valued clients, and contributing her skills to create exceptional experiences.

With a background as a PA in an Executive Search firm, Zanna brings strong organisational skills and a calm, can-do attitude to every role she takes on. Over the years, she has supported her husband’s recruitment business and most recently worked as an Advisor for Thermomix, where she hosted in-home product demonstrations combining her love for people and passion for food.

After 25 years of running a busy household and raising her family, Zanna is embracing a new chapter now that her youngest is at university. She’s excited to bring her energy, experience, and curiosity into Cosmetica.

Outside of work, Zanna is a food and fashion enthusiast, and a proud dog mum to two pups. She’s been managing their Instagram account for nearly a decade (though her kids might wish she wouldn’t mention that!)

Ellen has worked in the travel industry for 12 years, promoting beautiful destinations such as Fiji, Brazil, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

When Covid-19 hit, and global travel ground to a halt, Ellen completed a bookkeeping and admin diploma before joining the Cosmetica London team.

Based in Brighton her work is often unseen, ensuring things run smoothly with our systems.
