The Ultimate Eye and Neck Treatments FAQs

The Ultimate Eye and Neck Treatments are two programmes of treatment designed for maximum impact by combining a series of highly effective procedures.

Exclusive to Cosmetica, we’ve used our expertise to put together the most transformative eye and neck targeted treatments into one super procedure, which will really make a difference to the appearance of these delicate areas.

Delivered as a series of three treatments over a period of nine weeks we know you’ll really notice a newly defined, rejuvenated and youthful look.

Both treatments start with our renowned HydraFacial to restore, resurface and replenish skin, before a targeted serum is applied to the treated area.  You’ll then receive a ClearLift Laser “facelift” to lift the skin around your chosen area, followed by microneedling to rejuvenate and deeply moisturise, providing better tone and volume.

A patch test is important to ensure your skin does not react to the treatment.

However, the treatments are suitable for use on all skin types.  

We just don’t recommend laser treatments to anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, or to those with autoimmune disorders.

It’s also unsuitable for those with an autoimmune disease or anyone taking immuno-therapeutic treatments.  If you have a history of allergies, infections or inflammation in the eye area, you must inform your clinician.

Before treatment, it’s important to pop into the clinic for a patch test to ensure you don’t react to the laser.  When you arrive for treatment, you will have to remove glasses and any contact lenses you may be wearing.

Makeup should be avoided whilst the area heals and you should try to not touch your skin.

For at least 24 hours post-treatment, it’s recommended you avoid extreme temperatures, sunbeds and swimming.  An SPF of 50 must be worn on the area and you should avoid abrasive skin treatments for 5 days.  Always ensure you follow the aftercare advice and use any post-treatment creams or masks.

Finally you’ll be given a nourishing mask to apply at home once the skin barrier has completely repaired.

The skin will appear immediately tightened and refreshed.  Any redness will reduce quickly and you will find results improve over the coming weeks and months due to stimulation of collagen and elastin production.

These treatment are not permanent because the serum gets absorbed by the skin but the effects of the active ingredients will continue to benefit the eye area and show results for up to 3-6 months depending on the individual.  To maintain the effects, we recommend a top up every 6 months at least, but this treatment can be given monthly.

Immediately after the microneedling procedure, you may notice tiny pin prick marks or papules, along with some redness or a “tight” feeling.  This will diminish over the following 48 hours.  The laser part of the treatment may also cause redness, slight darkening of pigmentation and swelling but this will also quickly diminish.
