Lanluma Buttock Enhancement FAQs

Lanluma is an injectable treatment which can provide a non-surgical butt lift effect, creating volume, lift and smoothing dimples or cellulite in the skin.  It’s much safer than the notorious BBL surgery, with very low risk and much more natural results.

Lanluma injects an active ingredient called Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) which works with your body to activate collagen production in the treated areas to sculpt and reshape your bottom.

This happens over a period of several weeks or months, resulting in a natural look, with a far lower risk of stretch marks.  Best of all, Lanluma continues to trigger collagen production for up to 2 years so it’s a long lasting treatment.

You’ll first have local anaesthetic to numb the whole treatment area.

A very fine needle – just the same as those used for other injectable skin treatments – will deliver the Lanluma solution into the buttocks in the correct areas to treat and sculpt the bottom.

The procedure is virtually painless and you can sit down and resume normal activities the same day.  This is an outpatient treatment which can usually be completed in under an hour.

Generally this treatment is extremely safe for everyone but we don’t recommend cosmetic procedures during pregnancy or with some long term health concerns.  Personal treatment advice will always be given in your consultation.

Lanluma is renowned for producing results with zero to minimal downtime.  Post treatment, you can sit, move and resume activities as normal.  For best results, we do recommend that you don’t swim, use a sauna or take vigorous exercise in the gym or elsewhere for 7 days.  You mustn’t sunbathe for 10 days and avoid UV light.  We also suggest you avoid moisturising or fake tanning the treated area for 24 hours to avoid infection.

The skin will appear immediately tightened and lifted but this is actually due to the water used to dissolve the active ingredients rather than the final effect.  You’ll get a good idea of how your treatment will look with the immediate effects, then you must be patient for up to 90 days whilst natural collagen production is triggered to fill, smooth and lift the area.

Lanluma is renowned for its lasting effects.  Once you have been patient, and waited for collagen production to begin, you’ll start to see the difference.  Now the Lanluma will continue to work for up to 2 years, giving you lasting lift and volume.

It’s very rare to experience any pain with this treatment, but you can take paracetamol if you are concerned.  There will be a little redness or swelling at the injection sites but this will dissipate over the next 24-48 hours.

Lanluma’s effects are long lasting but as the effect is buildable, we recommend between one and three treatments to achieve perfect results gradually over 2-3 months.
